If you've read Danse Macabre, you'll probably remember Stephen King's description of this much celebrated episode. Relatively speaking, QUIET PLEASE holds up pretty well:

We are happy to be able to offer hundreds of old time radio shows for free download. Once we download these free OTR shows we can then listen to them on ourcomputer or copy them to a cd so we can listen anywhere!

Thanks! I've been listening to OTR for more than a decade. I found out about it when I was searching for audio versions of Lovecraft's stories.

My favorites include Quiet Please (esp. "The Thing on the Fourble Board"), The Shadow, X Minus One, Dimension X, Escape (esp. "Evening Primrose"), Mysterious Traveler, Suspense, Inner Sanctum, Lights Out, and CBS Radio Mystery Theater.
