At midnight on January 30th/31st, Resonance FM (http://resonancefm.com/) will broadcast a reading of Ligotti's "The Bells Will Sound Forever", with Mordant Music (http://www.mordantmusic.com/) providing a "sonic backdrop". Details are as yet sketchy: my main sources are this page (http://exoticpylon.com/weird%20tales%20for%20winter.html) and the schedule on the Resonance website.
Mordant Music being who they are, there is a fair chance that we are in for an audiohallucinatory treat on par with I Have a Special Plan for This World.
The program is part of a series called Weird Tales for Winter, featuring contributions from Belbury Poly, John Foxx and others.
Edit: Some misinformation corrected (I hope).

hi, i'm jonny mugwump the curator of the series Weird Tales for Winter.
I'm slowly making the details regarding the project less sketchy (hopefully) through a series of newsletters that you can access here (http://exoticpylon.com/newsletters/newsletters.html) if anybody's interested. And yes, the Mordant Music piece (narrated by Baron Mordant) is as out there as you might expect...

Mugwump, will podcasts be made available for those of us who cannot listen to the shows live?

I haven't been able to figure out from the website what time zone this is for the midnight starting time. Anyone else know? I don't want to miss the Ligotti episode on Friday/Saturday.
I think it is based in London, so GMT basically. I am looking forward to it!
As a bonus, when googling "time zone UK" I came across this awesome tidbit from 1984 - John Lydon and Afrika Bambaataa rocking it old school. Takes me back, it does...

The schedule has been changed, or maybe I misread it in the first place. Either way, the Ligotti program is at 00:00 GMT on the 31st, so a day later than I thought.
I will try to record the broadcast for those who miss out.

Listen (http://exoticpylon.com/weird%20tales%20for%20winter/pages/tales/episode6.html). Sort of headache-inducing in a good way.
