I ordered it, I think, but it went from the order form directly back to Durtro's ordering website.... didnt say much of anything about whether the order went through, did anyone get an email stating confirmation? just curious as i dont want to miss out on the book. thanks.

Yes, darkestthicket, I received an e-mail confirmation for my order from Durtro. The book was offered for sale on June 30th. Durtro nipped my credit card for $47.51 on July 4th. (A bargain.) Don't panic quite yet. The Durtro Shop seems to keep odd hours...

I just reread my e-mail messages from Durtro concerning my purchase of Teatro Grottesco. When I ordered on June 30th, I received an immediate confirmation of my order:

Subject: Thank you for your order
Date: Jun 30, 2006 6:10 PM
Thank you for placing an order at DURTRO.

30/06/2006
Order No. 106XXX

1 Thomas Ligotti: Teatro Grottesco book

You may want to resubmit your order if you did not receive a message like this one. Now that I think about it, the Durtro ordering process was not exactly my favorite online shopping experience...

Best of luck with your acquisition!

Although I received an email confirmation as well, I would email info@durtro.com and inquire regarding the order prior to resubmitting.

Oddly enough, today I received the following notice from Durtro:Subject: Notice of Invoice Shipment

Thank you for shopping DURTRO.

Order No. XXXXXX
Invoice No. 1
Shipped 21/08/2006

1 Thomas Ligotti: Teatro Grottesco book

Comments:
THANK YOU FOR PRE-ORDERING THOMAS LIGOTTI 'TEATRO GROTTESCO' BOOK. We will begin shipping from the UK upon publication within 3 weeks.Don't get too excited, though. Notice that it states that shipping will commence within 3 weeks. I sent an email in for clarification. At worst, it looks like we are getting very close!

I received a response from David, and the notice was not intended to represent a physical shipment. The book is to arrive at Durto in 3-4 weeks.
