Thanks for sharing Aeron! I've only read the translation of The Frolic from the lovely French volume for the moment. It's a strange feeling to read it in my native language after reading it so many times in English... Not the same music, but a lovely music nonetheless.

My French is far from perfect, but the Le Monde article, especially the second part, seems very vague, no? Anyway, should not look a gift horse in the mouth. Who is Brussolo? Does he really merit inclusion along with Lovecraft and Ligotti as a lyricist of horror? I have never heard of him before. |

Brussolo is a french writer of more than 100 genre novels. I never got around sampling any of them. One that seems interesting is a medieval story where a locked up monk rells about a pelgrimage that went very wrong, he thinks that the devil was involved.
