Thomas Ligotti Online - Eighteenth Anniversary
 

On February 4th, 1998, TLO was born.

Happy Belated Birthday, Thomas Ligotti Online! Like a doddering, absent-minded father, I had mistakenly thought it was today--not last Thursday.

A heartfelt thank you to Brian Poe (aka Dr. Bantham) for his wonderful design, hosting and administrative prowess and to all the members of TLO past and present for making this an online community that continues to stand the test of time.

Finally, thanks to Thomas Ligotti himself as always. So pleased the literary world is recognizing the singular brilliance of the man and his work.

Here's to eighteen more years of TLO!

It says a lot about TLO that it is still alive and kicking while many other forums have died "relatively gradually" or "relatively suddenly".

Congrats and thanks to all members. I am not here as often anymore but I still lurk once in a while. The level, variety and depth of the discussions on this site is superb. Hip hooray!
