Agreed! Much better than the Carroll & Graf/Robinson cover art, which was once hilariously (and accurately) described to me as "a cross between Aleister Crowley and Uncle Fester."

It looks like the cover designer used the same artist for their edition of Noctuario. Does anyone know who the cover artist is? Was this published in both hardcover and paperback editions?

The cover artist is José Hernandez.

Valdemar's editions of Noctuary and Grimscribe are only available in Hardcover.

Their catalog is superb Valdemar
