These intellectuals on the Left and even the Right have an agenda.
Too bad they lack the honesty to admit Lovecraft's views were hardly 'crank' but supported by the science of the time.(So much for experts). His views were simply a reflection of common mainstream views, hardly extreme. Jack London was typical of many people then; he recommended genocide for certain races but his list changed from day to day lol. The idea his views were an "anomaly" and unique to one man is risible. If Lovecraft were unique in this then America never was a racist country, right?
