Re: Last TV show you watched
Lately I've been watching Salem. In the second season, one of the new witches has a familiar named Brown Jenkin. Although her name is not Keziah Mason. I like the show. It is strictly entertaining.

Re: Last TV show you watched
Season 6 of Game of Thrones. It is great so far, with the exception of Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen. They suck and I hate both of them.

Your fall should be like the fall of mountains. But I was before mountains. I was in the beginning, and shall be forever. The first and the last. The world come full circle. I am not the wheel. I am the hand that turns the wheel. I am Time, the Destroyer. I was the wind and the stars before this. Before planets. Before heaven and hell. And when all is done, I will be wind again, to blow this world as dust back into endless space. To me the coming and going of Man is as nothing.

Re: Last TV show you watched
I'm catching up on Penny Dreadful S2. I watched S1 when it first aired and somewhat enjoyed it. It's shlocky but exceptionally well made with a likeable cast (even Josh Hartnett is good in it).
It reminds me of Hammer horror films and my beloved Dark Shadows. |

The storyline of Daenerys is one of my least favourites but that's partly due to the settings.

OK, my favorite show of the month, due to season 2, is the Unbreakable Kimmie Schmidt. Hilarious.

Re: Last TV show you watched
I saw all The Cleveland Show episodes that featured David Lynch. Man, that show was abysmal.

I was pleasantly surprised by the first season. A Lovecraft reference is enough to bait me into season two.

Re: Last TV show you watched
A couple of weeks ago as I was walking around Wal-Mart I noticed that the first two seasons of Game of Thrones were on sale for $20 each, so I decided to pick them up and finally see what all the fuss was about. Many, many years ago, I read the first book of the series and enjoyed it, but lost interest at the end of the second book, when it became painfully clear that Martin was embarking on yet another one of those interminable, endlessly meandering epic fantasies à la Robert Jordan.
Ever since that fateful purchase my life has revolved exclusively around the show. I've picked up seasons 3, 4, and 5, and am about to sit down to the second-last episode of the fifth season. Even without the fantastic plot twists I'd be hopelessly addicted solely for the fact that the show features countless handsome and masculine men and even a few handsome and masculine women dressed in sexy medieval jerkins made of black leather. For me, nothing -- and I mean absolutely nothing -- captures my attention like a handsome man or woman dressed up in a medieval leather jerkin. The ecstasy I experience when I see all those Night's Watch men gathered together in all their dozens of ravishing medieval jerkins is almost unbearable. It's just too much jerkin even for a long-time and fanatical medieval jerkin fetishist like myself to handle. As I sit in front of the television and watch all those jerkins I imagine I look like Saint Teresa does in Bernini's famous statue of her in the throes of divine rapture.
