Re: Haunted Worlds - new Jeffrey Thomas collection

I have now read the Story Notes and found much interesting additional food for though with regard to this book. There is even an addition or bonus track to the hindsight ready-made gestalt I had already closed off in my mind with an earlier 'end of review'. However, I will note that the Temple of Ugghiutu has eight spires. I will also quote the author’s own words: “and leaving my work open to interpretation even by myself.”

Was this book on sale at Necronomicon? I know the author was there. It is an important one for Ligottians, I feel.

Yes! Jeffrey was also at NecronomiCon and had a reading--the one about the Laser Tag weirdness. Superb!

"Thomas Ligotti is a master of a different order, practically a different species. He probably couldn’t fake it if he tried, and he never tries. He writes like horror incarnate.”

Re: Haunted Worlds - new Jeffrey Thomas collection

I picked up a copy at the dealer's room (the first thing I bought at the con, actually). The cover art is gorgeous, and I hope to see more cover art and illustrations from Kim Bo Young.
