Thank you very much. I'm afraid I don't have any definite news at present, though I am intending to write to the publisher and enquire today, as the book should be at the printers. Well, publishing is a dilatory business, but I get anxious. Anyway, thanks for your interest, and do watch this website for news.

Okay, the latest news on Rule Dementia! is that a late-May release has been pencilled in. However, no definite date can as yet be confirmed. Watch this space.

Re: Quentin S. Crisp

A couple of months ago I was going to buy stuff by several modern horror writers (Mark Samuels and some others) and one of the books included was Mr. Crisp's "Morbid Tales" on Tartarus Press, limited edition of 300. The little monster had a price of 50 dollars, though, and I couldn't afford it, so I left it for another time.

Two day ago I just checked if they still had the book, on Shocklines, and they don't

You could always try Fantasy Centre on Holloway Road, or Cold Tonnage Books. Or you could even buy directly from Tartarus Press. As far as I am aware they still have copies.

If Morbid Tales is too expensive - I can well understand that it might be - then you could always start with Rule Dementia!, which should be out quite soon now. It will be paperback and at least cheaper than the former collection.

Re: Quentin S. Crisp

Even on http://www.abebooks.com the cheapest priced one is $50 U.S. I checked my local library and they didn't have Quentin S. Crisp's book saying limited printings are hard to come by and extremely rare to find one in a public library.

My story NOWHERE TO GO was published by PS PUBLISHING in a book titled POSTSCRIPTS #14 in England in 2008. Let me know if you've read it. If you'd like to contact me, send me a Private Message.

I'm afraid it's true. I don't know how much Rule Dementia! will actually be, because that's up to the publisher, but I imagine it will be less than half the price of Morbid Tales. We shall see.

Think of it as an investment. Tartarus books are made with love for the long haul, so you will be able to read them for years to come. And, believe me, I think this is one book that going to go up in price over time. Think how you'll laugh when you've got yours, but no one else can find a copy under $300...

Thank you, Oozingbrain, for the vote of confidence. I hope your confidence is rewarded.

Anyway, I just wanted to announce here - though the announcement may be redundant, as it has already been made in the news section - that my latest story, 'The Fairy Killer', is now available to read in the TLO repository, or to download from the downloads section.

Quentin, just on the offchance that you come here before checking your emails could you just let the Silver Cross crowd know you're okay after the bombs this morning? Not sure if you were round that way or not today but we're all trying to check in with each other.

Hello, yes, I'm fine, thank you. I did a quick group e-mail before collapsing into bed (I was very tired), but I haven't put everyone on my automatic address list yet, so apologies to those who haven't yet heard from me.
