The Complete Symphonies Of Adolf Hitler

Reggie Oliverís stunning new book The Complete Symphonies Of Adolf Hitler is now ready for printing and copies will be available in the near future. We strongly recommend ordering copies in advance. The collection is simply outstanding, both in terms of fictional content and accompanying artwork. If readers thought The Dreams Of Cardinal Vittorini was an impressive volume, just wait till they get a load of Hitler!

How to purchase: For non-trade purchases, simply email your reservation direct to us, remembering to include your land address. Alternatively, you can send £25 post included to our Paypal account (use the same email account details). Dealers should approach us direct (minimum purchase ten copies). A very small number of signed copies will be available on a first-come first-served basis.

I have already reserved my copy of course! If the stories in it are half as good as in the first collection, then it's well worth your £25, really!

There are also some preview illustrations on the site, it's really bound to be a gorgeous volume.

Re: The Complete Symphonies Of Adolf Hitler

I've just received this book. It is really gorgeous! I just had time to read the inroduction by Glen Cavaliero, but I'll post some comments later, when I have started reading the stories.

Meanwhile, you can have a look at http://hitler-symphonies.co.uk/

Re: The Complete Symphonies Of Adolf Hitler

Does he have a very stylized approach in the writing? Difficult compared, say, with Ligotti?

Wow, the cover of that book looks very tempting!

Re: The Complete Symphonies Of Adolf Hitler

I have read the first stories in this collection and I'm not at all disappointed!

As for your question, SwansSoilMe/SwansSaveMe, his prose is totally different from Ligotti's. It is very simple and straightforward (a real treat when English is not your native language!), and very good in its purity...

For the moment, (I've only read The Complete Symphonies of Adolf Hitler, Lapland Nights, The Garden of Strangers, Among The Tombs andThe Skins so far) there is no Ligottian theme in the stories, but they are nonetheless really enjoyable!

More later...

Re: The Complete Symphonies Of Adolf Hitler

I finished the stories in this volume last week and it's pretty much all excellent. I almost wish I hadn't gone through it so quickly and had savoured the individual pieces more. Not particularly Ligottian, but Oliver has a very poetic, yet readable, style with a lot of accuracy of story detail that adds a great deal to the overall flavour. I'd say this was 'better' than his first collection.

Highly recommended and a good-looking book (heavy too!).
