Re: TLO Welcomes Albumine Tagada
Hello everyone,
Glad to find, here in TLO, a group of weird fiction fans that recognize Ligotti's talent and vision! I am a French translator (worked on Lovecraft, Joe Hill, Bizarro authors Kevin Donihe& Jeremy R. Johnson, and currently Tim Powers), and must say that I'm actually disappointed by how few of Ligotti's stories have been made available in my country (only a dozen in twenty years or so). Hence, I took upon me to go ahead and translate Teatro Grottesco and forward it to French publishers, hoping that one of them will have the guts to give the book a chance. One of the reasons of my presence here - apart from joining the fan community and discussing weird stories - is that I'd like to find a contact, phone or mail address, for the entity (agent or publisher) that actually represents Thomas Ligotti, so as to facilitate the copyright purchase for an eventual (and hopefully, probable!) French publisher. I hope someone might be able to help me on this. Meanwhile, bravo for the site and longue vie to TLO! Maxime | |||||||||||
