Re: Leaves for Art -Regenerating the Literature of Symbolism
I wholeheartedly agree with Mads. TLO is probably the best place for me to discover news about writers I already enjoy, and to discover new writers that I probably wouldn't have encountered elsewhere. Please don't stop posting updates here!

I shall now spam some new reviews of the Gozzano book: 1. The Parrish Lantern: Requiems Nightmares: Selected Short Fiction of Guido Gozzano 2. Requiems Nightmares by Guido Gozzano : Bookgeeks.co.uk Also, if I am not mistaken, the first number of Sacrum Regnum has been printed!

Re: Leaves for Art -Regenerating the Literature of Symbolism
My thanks Brendan
Yes, after a series of almost Kafkaesque delays the day of the first issue of Sacrum Regnum has indeed dawned. Save for one or two people who ordered multiples all orders were dispatched over these last few days. I've already had several messages from individuals in Britain letting me know they have received their copies this afternoon, so hopefully the wait shall be over soon. I would like to thank everyone for their patience during the delays some of these first items have incurred. Now that things are in order I'm free to focus on long term preparation for further volumes. In future announcements, or at least pre-order facilities, shall not appear on the website until materials are safely domiciled with the print firm. Lastly my ardent gratitude to everyone who contributed to Sacrum Regnum I and all those who expressed interest in contributing in future. We've had some excellent pieces and hope to see more in the future. May it provide an interesting foil to the stolidness of contemporary prose. | |||||||||||

My copy of Sacrum Regnum arrived a few days ago. The lineup looks great, hope this is the first issue of many.

Evans, advance publicity is a balance: too much and you feel the actual publication is an anticlimax, too little and your sales take months to get off the ground. Don't abandon advance publicity or discussion of your publishing activities, just let your own experience teach you the best and most comfortable approach to it.

Alternatively, disregard the herd and aim at those who sustain rather than drag down western culture.

In view of the totalitarian mindset of those who stand against us, whose power in the current secular Universalist paradigm is absolute, there is no alternative but to go underground culturally and interact only with other esoteric thinkers who have freed themselves from the dictates of contemporary thought.

Re: Leaves for Art -Regenerating the Literature of Symbolism
Sacrum Regnum has arrived, and looks very promising. I do wish the reviews were all signed by a reviewer - are the unsigned ones reviews written by the editors?

They are indeed. I kept with the non-personal plural for the reviews and the intro
