Rarely, if ever, do I give such a direct endorsement but this book is well worth the price. To get my copy I had to solve that puzzle from Hellraiser, face a mountain gnome, discover the riddle of the Sphinx, and still pay more money than what Clown Puppet is asking for. So if it hasn't already been taken up, might want to think about it.

I am assuming someone grabbed this. If not, someone should. That tome is ridiculously hard to find. As in, impossible to find. You can scour the internet and you aren't likely to find it, and if one comes up for auction, it will always command a high price. The relatively few copies that exist are likely owned by those who a), are Ligotti fanatics, b), recognize the quality of the writing and the rarity of the book, c), are very glad to own it and d), aren't likely to give it up. It's the best Ligotti that Ligotti didn't write. Now, the influence of Tom's writing is obvious, to the point of imitation, but boy, is it ever executed with authority. I consider myself lucky to have a copy of it, and if it wasn't for Tom, I wouldn't. Anyway, that's a great find.

You put it best Ascrobius, "the best Ligotti that Ligotti didn't write." This was one of my Holy Grail items and dear God it very, VERY much lived up to the hype (not always the case with sought after items). Can you fall in category e, all of the above?
