Egaeus Press
I thought it might be an idea to start a thread dedicated to Egaeus Press.
Egaeus Press is a publisher of fine, limited edition books of morbid and fantastical fiction. Our latest book is In Delirium's Circle by the excellently talented Stephen J. Clark. Set amongst the fogbound and beleaguered streets of post-war Newcastle Upon Tyne, In Delirium's Circle documents the obscure fate of William Fetch, artist and seer, in his pursuit of the truth behind a secret society of sinister game-players and the nebulous masters to whom they are enthralled. Fetch sees in these shadowy individuals perhaps his final chance to know the hidden worlds he has devoted his life to discovering. But are the choices he is making really his own? In Delirium's Circle is Stephen J. Clark's first novel, an unsettling tale of secrecy and obsession, of haunting memories and spiralling madness. It contains 21 original illustrations as well as full colour endpapers by the author. The book is a lithographically printed, 256 page sewn hardback. It is limited to 300 copies. ISBN 978-0-957160613. It can be purchased now for £30.00 through the website: http://www.egaeuspress.com/In_Deliriums_Circle.html All books will be packed in new, robust cardboard containers. ![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you.

Egaeus looks to be an exciting publisher. Decent authors and I love the aesthetics of the books so far and the website. Good luck Egaeus!

Re: Egaeus Press
Stephen J. Clark's book arrived today. Looks very promising. The book itself is quite extraordinary. Very fine productions values from the publisher. Looking forward to actually reading the book. I'm in the process of moving, and have a lot of books and records to pack, so not much reading time for me.

Re: Egaeus Press
Dear all,
I have also seen a copy of the book via a friend (mine is currently in the post). It really is a very handsome beast indeed, the cover is stunning, the whole book has nice proportions and is very square and tidy. Stephen told me that is very happy with the way the artwork was reproduced. My pal, whose judgement I trust in such matters, also says the story is excellent (though I was already pretty sure that would be the case). If it doesnt sell out sharpish then something is very wrong in the world. Egaeus are really setting a high standard from the get-go. REGARDS! J

Re: Egaeus Press
I received In Delirium's Circle at the beginning of the week. I've got several books on the go, but something about this made me want to start reading to check it out. Maybe just the first chapter, to see what it's like.
I ended up not putting it down and have been immersing myself in it's fog bound pages at every chance until finished. Totally enthralling and atmospheric, an exceptional book I'd say.

Re: Egaeus Press
Just got my copy in. Looks absolutely beautiful. Egaeus has done a terrific job with this book. Would go so far as to say it looks even better than Shadow Plays and Shadow Plays was immaculate.
(Also, quick note, was VERY happy with the shipping. Thanks for going the extra mile!)

Re: Egaeus Press
Been reading In Delirium's Circle this weekend (not done yet, but getting there) and am even more impressed with this book. Already posted (and you can see from the images) that it is a breathtakingly beautiful display of what the small publishing press is capable of at its best. But haven't commented on the story. I hadn't really read anything by Clark before this so I was trusting Egaeus's literary aesthetic and have been VERY happy with it. A truly weird gem of fiction just from what I've read already; members of the Network will be very happy with this book.
