Re: "PHANTASMAGORIUM"! Edited by LAIRD BARRON! !!

The order form on the website seems a bit buggy-- the first several times I tried to use it, the "place order" button was replaced by an error message before I could finish putting in my information. I finally got through by using the auto-complete in my browser to fill in all the fields before the button disappeared.

It would also be nice if there was some kind of contact information on the site-- short of leaving a comment on the post announcing that issue #1 is on sale, I can't see any way to get in touch.

Looking forward to reading the issue once it's e-mailed to me.

Very cool! I'll be ordering a physical copy... just as soon as these last minute bugs get worked out. But congrats to everyone involved!

Re: "PHANTASMAGORIUM"! Edited by LAIRD BARRON! !!

I ordered the pdf version of the magazine, all seemed to process ok, but I still haven't been emailed the copy.

I was emailed the paypal receipt, but nothing from the website itself, either to confirm the order or the actual pdf.

I didn't want to be too premature in worrying, but I'm a little concerned the order hasn't processed properly. Does anyone know who/how to contact the puppeteers behind Phantasmagorium to ask if the order was successful and when it will be emailed?

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Re: "PHANTASMAGORIUM"! Edited by LAIRD BARRON! !!

The site doesn't send any kind of confirmation; when I paid for my copy all I got was a PayPal receipt. How long has it been since you placed your order? Mine took about six hours from payment to the copy being sent.

The e-mail I received my copy from seems to be their contact address. I've given it below, with symbol substitutions so spammers don't pick up on it.

Re: "PHANTASMAGORIUM"! Edited by LAIRD BARRON! !!

I believe the online store includes a message that they automated deliver of ordered e-books isn't working properly but they promise to email a copy of the document in question promptly when payment is received.

Last I heard (I believe on the Phantasmagorium group on Facebook) the site designer JD and his wife were manually sending out the ebook files via email. My epub file arrived pretty quickly, but that was right when the Phantasmagorium store launched and I know JD was online at that exact moment.

Re: "PHANTASMAGORIUM"! Edited by LAIRD BARRON! !!

Thank you for the replies with information and the contact address.
I appreciate the help.

I made the transaction about 4 hours before my earlier post here. Not arrived yet, but reading your comments reassures me that maybe I was a little hasty in being concerned. So I'll leave it a little longer before emailing.

I would say though that the website says the magazine is emailed out within an hour of payment being received, which is a little misleading.

Thanks again for your help!

Re: "PHANTASMAGORIUM"! Edited by LAIRD BARRON! !!

I thought it appropriate to follow up by saying that I received the magazine email not long after my last post on the subject.
Very much looking forward to delving into it!

I think the lesson I've learnt today is to be a little more patient...something I fear I may have recently lost in this speeded up world of immediate demand.
