The Swan River Press
Hi all,
I've been lurking for quite a while reading various threads, and figure I should probably start a new one. Forgive me if this sounds like a sales pitch, but it is. Hopefully not an irrelevant one! For those who haven't already ordered, Peter Bell's debut collection STRANGE EPIPHANIES is now available. All pre-orders have shipped and all subsequent orders will ship next week. The Swan River Press Other stuff's in store for the future and I'll try to keep this thread updated with any news! Best, Brian

Re: The Swan River Press
STRANGE EPIPHANIES by Peter Bell and, as a member of TLO from 2005, I can vouch that most participants and watchers on this site will enjoy it.
I have just completed a real-time review Here: des

Re: The Swan River Press
Thanks, Des! The book's getting a nice reception so far. Hopefully that will continue. Peter's work has needed collecting for many years now. And for those who don't know, Sarob Press is doing their own volume of Peter's work. Where the Swan River Press collection contains Peter's mystical tales, Sarob's focuses more on the ghost stories. Re: The Swan River Press
Brian (and Sarob) have done us all a service by putting Peters work between hard covers and I agree that there will be plenty for Ligotti lovers to like. I am enjoying the Epiphanies very much. REGARDS! J

Re: The Swan River Press
I have been looking forward to this collection for some time, having very much enjoyed the Peter Bell stories I've read anthologised. My copy arrived a few days ago.. I haven't had the chance to get stuck in yet, although I can confirm it looks good next to my other Swan River book, R.B Russell's Ghosts, being of uniform size and production.

Re: The Swan River Press
I'll second the praise for Strange Epiphanies. A very stylish production with suitably eerie cover photography by R.B. Russell (also showcased on some other SRP releases such as The Old Knowledge). Des, as usual, is right on the money with his real-time review and I'm sure that the thoughtful and atmospheric weird fiction of Peter Bell will appeal to many here on TLO.
