Ligotti's THE SPECTRAL ESTATE on Fiddleblack.org's podcast
I had the great honor of being asked by Fiddleblack to record a reading of Thomas Ligotti's work for their new podcast series. (The project was, of course, OK'ed by Mr. Ligotti.)
I chose to read "The Spectral Estate" as I have a soft spot for the shorter pieces in The Notebook of the Night. Anyway, it's just been posted here. The rest of the episode, while not strictly horror or weird, also deserves a listen. (The journal itself is very good and featured a Lovecraft issue in #8, among other content of particular interest to this group.) If you happen to listen, I hope you enjoy it. I know I don't have to persuade anyone here on TLO, but the piece is brilliant, really devastating. | |||||||||||
