Re: Your favourite song at the moment..

The "thanks" button isn't enough. Great pick, Cnev.

"In a less scientific age, he would have been a devil-worshipper, a partaker in the abominations of the Black Mass; or would have given himself to the study and practice of sorcery. His was a religious soul that had failed to find good in the scheme of things; and lacking it, was impelled to make of evil itself an object of secret reverence."

~ Clark Ashton Smith, "The Devotee of Evil"

Re: Your favourite song at the moment..

Thank you for sharing this song, Mr. Veech. This band was completely new to me. I just listened to a lot more of them on YouTube and I like what I heard. I think I'm a new fan. Time to get some new CD's! Just wanted you to know that your post did not go unnoticed.

...Errr, I'm talking about Kirlian Camera, by the way...

Re: Your favourite song at the moment..

I worked after-hours childcare at my highschool during my senior year, and we had one particular girl who would always sit by herself and either read fantasy books or draw landscapes. She had no friends but was content being by herself, alone, with her imagination. She had a very quirky happiness about her, and was very passionate about her interests. I often wonder how she is, or how she fared in the real world. The kid in this video always reminds me of her.

Re: Your favourite song at the moment..

I just discovered this Turkish band:

"In a less scientific age, he would have been a devil-worshipper, a partaker in the abominations of the Black Mass; or would have given himself to the study and practice of sorcery. His was a religious soul that had failed to find good in the scheme of things; and lacking it, was impelled to make of evil itself an object of secret reverence."
