Re: Sarob Press
I expect the finalized TOC and offical publication date will be announced in due course in the next G&S newsletter.
In the meantime, Rosemary Pardoe said it was fine to give people an unofficial 'heads-up' as to the contents.

Re: Sarob Press
Just finished this review of A CERTAIN SLANT OF LIGHT by Peter Bell (Sarob Press). I think the book as a whole is possibly the best example yet of Ghorror (as defined).

Re: Sarob Press
Just finished 'The Ghosts and Scholars Book of Shadows', the recent Sarob collection of prequels/sequels which I can heartily recommend to those on TLO who have a love of all things Jamesian. The editor has wisely, I think, avoided including too many stories in the 'M.R. James pastiche' style, although the better ones do tend to fall into that category.
Standout stories for me are those by Reggie Oliver, Louis Marvick (who really deserves to be much more widely appreciated) and Mark Valentine, whose contribution I have already seen described on another board as 'better than the original'.

I'm looking forward to this. I've enjoyed all the Christopher Harman stories I have read thus far.

Re: Sarob Press
Yeah, I've enjoyed quite a few Harman stories as well, particularly "The Last to Be Found." I don't think I'll be picking up this collection-- I can only justify so many limited editions these days, and I've just splurged on the new Reggie Oliver-- but I hope it won't be Harman's last.

Re: Sarob Press
I don't remember reading Harman, although it's entirely possible considering the anthologies in which he's been published.
I like trying out authors new to me. You never know what to expect.
