Cosmic Horror
I have just completed two new weird pieces of sequential art which i'm issuing as a single 48-page zine titled ( of course) Cosmic Horror, not because these comic strips feature tentacled Unnameables from beyond the veil of reality, but because they're (in a way) about the despair and futility that can attend the pursuit of art, culture, and beauty. Some details:
COSMIC HORROR featuring two new weird tales, viz. KTHLH & brother Zed of 20 pgs each. in a b/w 48 page DIN A4 publication original to publication size ratio 1:1 cover 160 gsm. guts 80 gsm. stapled, untrimmed 12 euros, shipping included ----------------------------------- Pictures over at my blog Ibrahim R. Re: Cosmic Horror
Mentioning it under this post because i don't want to create a separate thread for every little drawing i've made & would like you all to see:
You can read a short comic that i made, over at this site: http://www.pulpdeluxe.be/strips/where-theyre-from/ ( site's Belgian but my piece is in English, or, the same approximation of it that is on shameful display here). | |||||||||||

Bump.

"In a less scientific age, he would have been a devil-worshipper, a partaker in the abominations of the Black Mass; or would have given himself to the study and practice of sorcery. His was a religious soul that had failed to find good in the scheme of things; and lacking it, was impelled to make of evil itself an object of secret reverence."

Re: Cosmic Horror
Well. Reluctant self-promotion, then.
New book coming out end of this month. In all honesty it could not be further removed from cosmic horror, but for those who hold in fond regard such 'weird' children's tv serials as The Owl Service and Children of the Stones it might offer some enjoyment since it was partly inspired by those things, aside from some Joseph Payne Brennan references, & the usual concerns.
