Jung Personality Test (similar to MBTI / Myers Briggs)
I thought it would be interesting if members here at TLO were to test their personality type and post their results. I've taken similar tests numerous times over the years, and it seems that my results are always fairly consistent--usually placing me in the camp of either INTJ or INTP, though, as the percentage suggests, I'm really just somewhere betwixt the two. Anyway, the test can be found here.
My most recent results are as follows:

Re: Jung Personality Test (similar to MBTI / Myers Briggs)
That site timed out when I tried to submit my answers. I've taken that type of test a few times before. When I was younger, my result was always INTP. In recent years, it has always been INTJ (with "weak J"). Your result shows that you're nearly on the line between P and J also (52% - 48%).
I read something recently that cast a lot of doubt on whether the Myers-Briggs test is really accurate or meaningful. I've always been skeptical about it, but it seems more plausible to me than many of the tests out there. The political self-tests I've seen are really bad (so many dubious assumptions behind the questions and behind the way they score the questions). And speaking of something to be skeptical about, I read somewhere that INTP is the Myers-Briggs type that corresponds to Asperger Syndrome (which I may have according to Baron-Cohen's AQ test). Maybe I just have Psychological Test-Taking Syndrome or something like that. Putting aside the question of whether these tests are meaningful, I do think that rough psychological types have much to do with our affinities and aversions. For instance, I've noticed that whether I like an author has little to do with sharing beliefs, opinions, etc., and a lot more to do with simply being able to appreciatively follow the manner of thought and expression. It has occurred to me that the seeming diversity of books in my apartment may be specious. What I really have is a large collection of books by authors with psychological profiles that are similar to my own. Similar, not the same. In Myers-Briggs terms, maybe some of them are ENTJs or INFPs or whatever, as long as there is significant overlap with my own type. Or maybe the similarities wouldn't be capturable by Myers-Briggs at all. In any case, I am probably much more of a monomaniac as a reader than my book collection would seem to indicate. Perhaps that is true of all of us. It wouldn't surprise me if Thomas Ligotti had a similar Myers-Briggs type to those of his more avid readers, whether they are pessimists or not.

Re: Jung Personality Test (similar to MBTI / Myers Briggs)
I've taken this test numerous times and I always come out INTJ. I read somewhere that schizophrenia is more common than the INTJ personality type. So that would explain a lot....
Anyhow, I'm glad that Murony and Gveranon are likewise in - or close to being in - the "INTJ Misfits' Club." If nothing else, it's pretty cool having the same personality type as the Unabomber, Friedrich Nietzsche and Augustus!

I'm typically right on the border between Extrovert/Introvert. I've scored as an Introvert before.
Extroverted (E) 52% Introverted (I) 48% Intuitive (N) 79% Sensing (S) 21% Feeling (F) 56% Thinking (T) 44% Perceiving (P) 57% Judging (J) 43% Your type is: ENFP ENFP - "Journalist". Uncanny sense of the motivations of others. Life is an exciting drama. 8.1% of total population.

Introverted (I) 80% Extroverted (E) 20% Intuitive (N) 63% Sensing (S) 37% Thinking (T) 66% Feeling (F) 34% Perceiving (P) 70% Judging (J) 30% Your type is: INTP INTP - "Architect". Greatest precision in thought and language. Can readily discern contradictions and inconsistencies. The world exists primarily to be understood. 3.3% of total population. I'm not really surprised by these results apart from the Thinking vs. Feeling access. I am totally an emotional being, so 66% in Thinking does not make much sense to me. Ah well. I confess I did somewhat rush through this test, and don't put all that much stock in these sorts of things anyway. They are amusing, though.
