Re: Last TV show you watched

damo, I've only caught a couple of episodes of the second series of Inside No. 9 but from what I saw it's as good as the first one. And yes, Black Mirror and Dead Set are great.

Re: Last TV show you watched

Sometimes I like to have a dose of pretty trashy and crappy TV shows; they crack me up. Last night I watched a couple of episodes of Cheaters and Judge Judy on YouTube and could not stop laughing.

Cheater's hosts crack me up too: Joey Grecco pretending to act all serious in the midst of all the stupidity around him and Clark Gable III, the living proof that fame and talent is not genetically hereditary.

Oh, and I love how the disclaimer at the beginning of the show says that they encourage "the renewal of temperance and virtue" when all that it is is pure trash.

Your fall should be like the fall of mountains. But I was before mountains. I was in the beginning, and shall be forever. The first and the last. The world come full circle. I am not the wheel. I am the hand that turns the wheel. I am Time, the Destroyer. I was the wind and the stars before this. Before planets. Before heaven and hell. And when all is done, I will be wind again, to blow this world as dust back into endless space. To me the coming and going of Man is as nothing.

I'm going through The X-Files again. The writing isn't always strong, but the atmosphere of these early seasons remains engaging.

Re: Last TV show you watched

Caught a couple of episodes of American Horror Story season 1. Pretty good so far but I'm told the quality drops off somewhere along the way; perhaps in season 2?

Rectify. Waiting for Season 3 to get to Netflix. Nice thing to lose myself in, largely. Tried it after watching True Detective season 1 and getting the jones for something else...I hardly ever watch TV.

Re: Last TV show you watched

Keep watching American Horror Story, season 1. It's really, really good. One of the best Haunted House "films" (when considered as a whole) ever. I am not a big TV guy, and it took me by surprise. I actually bought the Blu Ray box set to watch again some time. It's the first time I watched something on TV and said, "Is that really on television?" Good stuff. Very disturbing, and keeps its head of steam throughout, by and large. After that, I think the quality dropped off and it seemed to lose some authenticity, though I was OK with season 2.

I am currently working my way through Mad Men from Season 1.

I never saw the original runs, it is very good actually.

Re: Last TV show you watched

I just finished rewatching series 1 and 2 of Wallander. I will rewatch series 3 next week and wait for the 4th and last series later this year.

Wallander series 3 and Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell. I loved it and perhaps I will read the book.
