The InkerMen Press drew my attention with one of their publications, namely Pieces for Puppets... and Other Cadavers by D. P. Watt. Stories from this collection have been favourably compared to TL's, Richard Chambers' and to those by other masters of weird fiction. D. P. Watt's next collection will be published by Ex Occidente. One of his stories appeared in Cinnabar's Gnosis: A Homage to Gustav Meyrink.

Members of this site might be interested to learn that InkerMen Press will be publishing D F Lewis's Weirdtongue in October 2010.

Visit the Narrative Hospital, the Glistenberry Festival and the killing under-fields of Middle Europe, in the company of Blasphemy Fitzworth the Victorian cats-meat man. Nothing however can describe the experience of this novella and its various characters or scenes. Furthermore, it gradually teaches a new language of the mind called Weirdtongue.


I've encountered Blasphemy Fitzworth the Victorian cats-meat man elsewhere, and am delighted at the thought of being treated to more episodes from his life.

A marriage between the InkerMen and the Constant Writer, D F Lewis, seems something inevitable. And I hope wonderful.

Good news. I wondered if the press had gone somewhat dormant, but it's great to see them active and publishing a new title by Des.

The D.P. Watt collection seems to have gone out of print. Does anyone here know how to obtain it?

Good to see they're still active and putting out a DFL collection.

They have also published a study of Bruno Schulz - has anyone here read it, and have some comments on it?

Yes. As there'll be some time before Weirdtongue comes out, I thought that a plug for the publisher might be useful, and the book itself could only benefit if its review later appears on another thread of its own (possibly a case of stating the bleedin' obvious here, for which apologies ).

Yes, I am truly thrilled about this.
BTW, 'Weirdtongue' is a proper novella written recently, (37,000 words) not a collection.
