Definitive editions?

I've seen it mentioned in interviews and elsewhere that the Subterranean reprints of Grimscribe and Songs of a Dead Dreamer are the definitive editions, gently tweaked and de-typoed for our reading pleasure. I recall that they will eventually have a similar definitive reprint of Noctuary and await the pre-order on that, but I am curious....

what about other books? Shadow at the bottom of the world, TG, MWINYD, etc? are there definitive editions of these too?

also, how likely is it that there may be some future even-more-definitive editions that supplant the current definitive editions, like what has been done with Star Wars home video releases? I wouldn't mind, as getting new Ligotti books in the mail is like a visit from a pessimistic antinatalist Santa (I'm picturing stockings stuffed with broken doll parts and dead vermin), i just want to know how much shelf-space to allow.

Re: Definitive editions?

Teatro Grottesco may be considered as a "definitive" collection.

Re: Definitive editions?

Unfortunately, there are still some typos in the 'definitive edition' of SoaDD... Haven't begun reading the new Grimscribe. But I imagine proof reading will never be an exact science!

Never say never, so I believe there could be even more definitive definitive versions in the future. Who knows? Probably even Mr Ligotti doesn't know if he won't be tempted to have another go at some stories at some point...
