Yes, I was looking at this book today. It is, in terms of aesthetics at least, the best if the Hieroglyphic books. I also dare say, for my own taste, it is as good as any of the other books being put out by other presses. I have not read all the material... but the simple black jacket, the drunken boards, the wide interior margins, etc. make it very pure, very simple.

Wide margins are indeed a plus! More presses should cotton onto this. It's practically a cardinal virtue: prudence.

All apologies if this is the wrong place to post this question. Hieroglyphic Press was off my radar til this Machen homage (HUGE fan) and I was looking at their other works. Has anyone read "Thalassa"? I was wondering if it was worth the purchase as I'm unfamiliar with Macedonski and his work.
