"PHANTASMAGORIUM"! Edited by LAIRD BARRON! !!

"Phantasmagorium" is a new quarterly magazine. It will be edited by none other than our own, Laird Barron.

The first issue will be out very soon...

Laird Barron has chosen!!! We promised an author announcement here at Phantasmagorium, and we always deliver. The first issue of Phantasmagorium will contain works by:

1. Stephen Graham Jones author of "Demon Theory" (www.demontheory.net)
2. Scott Nicolay author of "Ana Kai Tangata" (www.aklopress.org)
3. Joe Pulver author of "Blood Will Have Its Season" (www.thisyellowmadness.blogspot.com)
... 4. Simon Strantzas author of "Beneath the Surface" (www.strantzas.com)
5. Anna Tambour author of "Spotted Lily" (www.annatambour.net)
6. Genevieve Valentine author of "The Nearest Thing" (www.genevievevalentine.com)

Look for it soon!!!

This is where my [10,300 word] Ligotti tribute "And this is where I go down into the darkness" will appear... Tom had very nice things to say about my tale.

Thank you Joe, always nice to see more Strantzas works seeping into the world (I'm working on something magazine/journal based myself at the moment though there's no way it clash with this).

Shall probably wait till The Grimscribe's Puppets for those Ligotti stories though!

One of my favorite stories by him is when a "muse" arrives on an authors door step and the creep'o meter hits eleven.

PHANTASMAGORIUM looks great, I will certainly keep a look out for it. The first story I ever read by Laird was "Proboscis" several years ago, and I've been a fan ever since.

I will definitely be keeping my eye on that web page for a date of release and details of obtaining a copy. Sounds like it will be an excellent magazine.

I had no idea this journal was in the works. I am very excited about this, the table of contents looks quite intriguing. I've discovered a few new writers from following Mr. Barron's blog, so I've come to trust his taste for the most part.
