Re: "PHANTASMAGORIUM"! Edited by LAIRD BARRON! !!

Mr Loligo, it's normal to wonder "what next?" after you press the button to pay for a product. I don't think you were as impatient as some. I run a small internet store, and I find that everybody who orders anything online assumes every online merchant has hundreds of employees working around the clock, and they expect an immediate response, even in the middle of the night or on weekends. Many merchants are just 1-2 people, and may be totally honest and reputable, but sometimes they're away from the computer.

Anyway, I've yet to delve into my copy of Phantasmagorium (though my wife has started reading it) and I'm really looking forward to it. Looking forward to many more of these.

Re: "PHANTASMAGORIUM"! Edited by LAIRD BARRON! !!

Some problems with the page, my cart emptied itself a couple of times -
Then for some reason - paypal said I couldn't pay with my card - after that - everything went ok. Just waiting for my file. It's a holiday in the USA - so I'm guessing I'll just wait until tuesday, very eager.

Edit:

Uhm...my PayPal-Receipt contained COMPLETELY different info - that e-mail was nowhere to be seen, but two other e-mails....
Guess I'll just wait and see...

Now the cash has been withdrawn from my account for like...20 hours? Will wait a few hours and then I'll have to try and get in touch with them

All this waiting...

I didn't see the edit to your older post until now, Professor Angell. My PayPal receipt also included two e-mail addresses that I assume were the same two as on yours. The address I gave here was from a third e-mail account that actually delivered the magazine file. At this point I'd say you definitely have good cause to get in touch via one or another of those addresses.

And sure enough, I press "post" go brush my teeth and hit bed. Wake up 9 hours later, grab my phone and voila - new mail from Phantasmagorium >_< I feel kinda silly for being so anxious, but I hope that'll pass as I dive head first into the dark abyss of horror..(first time on a iPad, will be interesting. iHorror.)

Edit: So far, so good! Wonderful selection, plus the pad-reading experience was way better than I imagined (had to convert the file, but that went pretty smoothly)

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by our early shopping cart apps and delays in sending the electronic versions of Issue #1! You will be happy to know that we FINALLY found a shopping cart app that not only works (without requiring a computer engineering degree), but which also takes you to an automatic download, for the instant gratification we all require. Thank you for your feedback, good and bad!
Soon you will be able to enjoy Issue #2, and with MUCH less hassle. We promise to learn as we grow!

Would love to chat more with you about your iPad reading experience and the file conversion... iPad-ready was the one format we were unable to fully flesh out, for many reasons including time, but especially since we had no access to testing it.

Re: "PHANTASMAGORIUM"! Edited by LAIRD BARRON! !!

Has anyone received a printed copy of the October 2011 issue? I ordered mine on December 15; on December 23 I received an email from Mr. Busch describing a production delay.

So far I haven't received any further communications, and three email inquiries to Mr. Busch over the last two weeks have gone unanswered. I realize this is a small operation and I am trying to be patient, sadly not one of my strong suits. So has anyone else put their hands on this volume, or heard any news?

I have a printed copy, though it took several emails to do so. I think my last email or two went unanswered, but eventually a copy showed up in my mail box.
