Don't have nightmares, but can anyone see the front-on cat between the top orange images...?

Re: Classical Horror - Guidelines

Discussion of Thomas Mann in another thread has prompted me to realize that Doktor Faustus could be considered "classical horror" precisely in the spirit of your forthcoming anthology!

Thanks.
The Berlioz opera as produced by Terry Gilliam seems very relevant to that.
Gilliam / Faust (my blog about it written a few days ago).

Re: Classical Horror - Guidelines

I have to admit I'm not familiar with Berlioz at all, except as a name. Unfortunately I can't watch that Gilliam production because "Currently BBC iplayer TV programmes are available to play in the UK only." Berlioz does sound intriguing, though. I'll find his music somewhere else and do some listening . . .

Re: Classical Horror - Guidelines

CLASSICAL HORROR ANTHOLOGY: 30 May 2012: Deadline Midnight tonight British summer time. I have had an enormous amount of great stories many of which would be worthy of inclusion in the book. So please do not be too disappointed if you should receive a rejection. In view of the large amount of work involved, there may be some delay in coming to various decisions. As has always been my wont since starting this paying market of Megazanthus Press in 2001, I do not comment on rejected stories, but merely notify rejection by email.
