I was thinking of ordering the first or second one, but wanted to hear what other folks thought first.

I gave the journal Thinking Horror Volume 1 a 4 star review at goodreads.com. Its current goodreads rating is over 4 stars.

I am in basic agreement with the other reviews that points out its strengths and weaknesses.

Thank you, it seems like most of the negatives have to do with the typesetting and a couple of bad essays. Another review said that it covers a lot of the same ground as The Outer Dark podcast. I have listened to every episode, so hopefully that doesn't mean that I have already heard all of the content.
