Re: Current 93 Tribute Anthology

Well, seeing as other forum members are identifying their contributions: my story is "The Withering Echo." It was mainly influenced by the Current 93 songs "Locust" and also the album "Dawn."

Speaking of Current 93, has anyone here heard the new album yet? I think it's really great, much better than 2011's "Honeysuckle Aeons," an album which, though it had a few good songs, felt a little phoned in to me. It seems there's a lot of Current 93 activity right now, what with David Tibet's "Sing Omega" lyric book finally being published (a beautiful item, by the way).

Re: Current 93 Tribute Anthology

It was originally announced to come out on Copeland Valley Press, but after some delays, editor Jordan Krall announced he would instead release it on his own press Dynatox Ministries, or more likely the Dunhams Manor Press imprint of Dynatox.

Dynatox & Dunhams Manor books are usually released in very short limited editions which quickly sell out, but I don't expect Mighty in Sorrow to be so limited. There was some talk of doing some kind of special limited version in addition to the regular edition, but I don't know if that's definite, or what would be different about any special/limited version that may occur.

We should know something very soon, if his plan of releasing the book in April holds true. I'll post here if I hear any news.

Re: Current 93 Tribute Anthology

I suppose it's worth adding something more definite, for those worried they'll miss the announcement: several TLO forum members have stories in the book, and we realize there are many C93 fans here. At least one of us will definitely post the announcement here when the book is available to order.

The print version of the book is not yet available, but Amazon has the Kindle version of Mighty in Sorrow up for sale now:

Re: Current 93 Tribute Anthology

I finished this anthology last night, and found it absolutely sublime. I highly recommend this, even if you're not familiar with the work of Current 93, as many of the stories have a Ligottian flavour. I've written a review here, if anybody's interested:
