I've found that my Nook and iPhone are actually worse for my rheumatoid arthritis - the rigid and limited motion of holding them while constantly swiping the screen often causes my fingers and elbows to swell up.

But even then, as much as I prefer print, I'll take an ebook over a shoddy Create Space/Lulu POD if those are my only options.
