Re: Favourite Trees

I assume the bottom tree is an oak.

Do you know what the top one is?

I *think* the bottom one is a willow, a tree I have known for a couple of years. It is tucked away in a glade where I've never seen anyone else. I have no idea what the the top one is. I found it today.

I intended this thread for others to post their favourite trees.

The top tree reminds me of this column I took some years ago in Viglen Park, Oslo...

Re: Favourite Trees

This tree grows near my parents' place. It's got this black pool like a gaping mouth at its center. Trust me, you don't want to stare too long into it.

Re: Favourite Trees

These are some fine trees. Last week I taken some pictures but the computer needed some damn software to be compatible with my phone. The quality of them are probably terrible anyway.

There's a tree I've always wanted a photo of but it's on someone's property and I don't fancy trying or asking.

Thomas Pakenham did 3 books with Remarkable Trees in the title. I've got two of them and they're very good.

Re: Favourite Trees

A tree that doesn't need a separate noose...
