Virtue in Danger.

Does anyone know anything about this novel? I dug around for awhile in the forums here, and someone said that it's been listed as "Forthcoming" since 2010. I don't even know if that's true, but if it is, it seems like a rather long time.

Oh, here's a link to the EO page.

Re: Virtue in Danger.

Wolftrappe, there was an update on this book recently on the Ex Occidente thread:

http://ligotti.net/showthread.php?t=2535

Post #1225 says it should be published February/March this year

Ah! Thank you. Not sure how I missed that, so I appreciate the heads-up.

Re: Virtue in Danger.

I may be misremembering, but didn't VOD end up being a chapter in "The Dracula Papers"?

Re: Virtue in Danger.

It was The Wounds of Exile, also from Ex Occidente, that was part of the first volume of The Dracula Papers. Virtue in Danger is something entirely separate.

Noonday Stars: a blog about horror fiction. Recent content includes essay on the new edition of Ligotti's The Agonizing Resurrection of Victor Frankenstein and Other Gothic Tales.

Re: Virtue in Danger.

The book is available now here (exclusively): Zagava Books and apparently, although not surprisingly, selling fast, or so I hear. Have a look at the Ex Occidente thread to have a glimpse at just how beautiful an artifact it has become.
