Why doesn't anyone bother to give me these wonderful web tips? After all, I am a longtime fan of Hampton and the Hamsters!

Re: About "The Face of Twilight"

Mark Samuels Online: Coming soon?

Sounds like we're in for a treat. 8)

I think an author's web page is a very important source of information, which might not only bring new fans and advertise writer's texts throughout the world, but also constantly keep old readers informed of what's going on. I'm not sure if without TLO, I would have become such an avid fan of Thomas Ligotti - and not only because the site is simply fantastic but also considering where I live (accessibility) and the sheer lack of interest in THIS country in this kind of fiction...
Oh, and as ELHI suggested: some samples of author's texts are very much welcome ;)

Best,
Slawek

Yes, and lots of goth girls with big breasts!

Ehm.... I mean, no....

I think that a MSO website could be a really good thing. It may probably evolve the same way TLO has been evolving since its original form in long shadows.

Anyway, people die...

Thanks to you all for being so enthusiastic about this idea. I really appreciate it.

As a consequence of a certain Mr Strantzas' timely intervention, things are now moving swiftly to make the proposal a reality.

More power to the dancing hamster :-)

Re: About "The Face of Twilight"

Oh, Doctor Bantham, you sadist! I restrain myself from quoting Lou Reed's "Vicious"!

Really, I have read little of your work, Mr. Samuels, but I intend to. It seems quite interesting. After a long hiatus of not reading Ligotti, I spring back, triumphant.

Just popping in to say, I'm looking forward to receiving my copy of The Face of Twilight, and also looking forward to Mark Samuels Online.

I'm coming late to this, but you can count me among those who would welcome a Website devoted to you, Mark. (It seems the good thing about getting in on this discussion late is that my wish is already in process of being fulfilled.)

Additionally, I hope THE FACE OF TWILIGHT furthers the cause of advancing your rising star.

Speaking of advancing careers and such, when are we going to see some more work by you Matt?

Re: About "The Face of Twilight"

Hooray! My hardcover copy of "The Face of Twilight" just arrived this afternoon # 205 of 300! It looks great. I can hardly wait to get started on it. In fact, I'm tempted to dive right in here at work!

So Mark,.. when is "Glyphotech and Other Processes" going to be available? You knew someone was bound to ask.
