Re: Zagava / Ex Occidente (Zex)

MadsPLP: Sorry, I just realized you may have wished to compare guesses with others before looking at the card. I didn't reveal anything except to say how well you did, but I decided to put a couple of my sentences in a spoiler window (hope it's not too late).

I think you read the anthology in the spirit in which it was intended.
Spoiler
You are right about all the stories you made definite guesses on. It seems that you're familiar enough with most of the authors to be pretty confident in your guesses.
I had only read four of the authors before receiving the book.

It's odd and striking that "Sebastian Knight" is a Pessoa heteronym and Vladimir Nabokov wrote a novel called The Real Life of Sebastian Knight. I think this may just be coincidence. I briefly searched for information about any connection but didn't find anything.

Re: Zagava / Ex Occidente (Zex)

A new blog entry with some notes about the archival as fiction, with references to the awesome books by Mark Valentine and Andrew Condous, among others. There are very wild hypothesis and ideas about the memory/history flow in fictional running.

In the next few days, I will transfer all my posts to a new blog platform. But I will warn the readers and post here the new Bibliophage address.

Best,

Fellows

For reasons of force majeure, I had to change the address of my blog. But it was a nice change: the blog is now more organized and visually pleasing. To inaugurate this new address, a review of the book "The Stream & The Torrent", part of a new series of reviews that I call "Imaginary Cinema".
