Kobo Abe delivers at least on some level. The Face of Another and The Woman in the Dunes come to mind. His work is perhaps more about dissociation in the real world, but the tone is often very unsettling.

Sorry if these have been mentioned before!

I've come across The Woman in the Dunes before, but have yet to read it. I shall keep it mind for future reference.
