I found myself playing a version of "Where's Wally", convinced that one of the most sinister clowns - Ronald McDonald - must be lurking amongst this sea of rictus grins.
I think I found him in picture 1!

Does anyone not find clowns creepy?
One of my earliest memories is an episode of the medical soap opera Emergency Ward 10 featuring a ghostly clown. I never thought I'd see it again but amazingly it's just been released on a compilation DVD. So sometime later this week I'll see how my 45-year-old memory stacks up against the reality...

and pennywise the dancing clown in PIcture 2. They all float down there.

For me, clowns are only creepy when they are in a context where I would not expect clowns. Clowns at circuses, costume-intensive holidays, children's parties or the like are fine. it is when clowns appear in other places, especially at night, that they can be upsetting. but I like scary clowns, so that is where i am most pleased to see them (and most concerned they're going to stab me or something).
