I have not looked this particular formula, but it is directly related to online presence and interaction over a set period. If you should not visit or post within the set period, your activity would equal 0%. I will likely tweak this formula to allow diversity within the top ranks in lieu of several members receiving 100% activity ratings.

I don't suppose that all of the 100% activity members can really be equal. But how to differentiate between them may be a knotty problem.

Shortly after creating this thread, I thought that it might be redundant. But now it actually seems quite useful.

Indeed. You are asking very good questions and the issues you have encountered are publicly resolved for the benefit of others. I have long intended on generating a detailed primer for site features, as the beast has evolved into a rather complex organism. For now, I encourage everyone to ask questions and point out issues.

It has evolved into something complex, which is one of the things I like about this site.

There is another issue I meant to mention. While I was using the Microsoft Internet Explorer, this site opened each time in the same style as that of my last visit. Now that I'm using Firefox, it automataically opens in Harlequin. It's not really a problem. With Microsoft Internet Explorer, changing style took a long time. Now, using Firefox, it changes pretty well instantly. So -- I'm not complaining (and don't necessarily need a solution) -- but it does seem curious (and worth mentioning).

Actually, it may be fair enough. I don't think I'll really so very helpful... ;)

...Or, at least, not to people here. I do help Sam my cat by feeding him (and perhaps in other ways, too). But I suppose that he has no vote on my helpfulness. In any case, he's not necessarily very impressed by the level of service he receives.

I hope the bronze skull went to someone deserving.

I know that I have a new private message (an email told me so) -- but I can't figure how to access my PMs. I feel sure that that it used to be possible to reach the messages from the writing just to the left of my avatar at the top of the page. But there's no mention of PMs in that place now.
