Another thing about suicide is that, if you are really ready to do yourself in, having taught yourself to tie that hangman's knot perfectly, and finally stand somewhere idyllic with the noose around your neck ready to jump from whatever platform you're standing on - elevated high enough above ground level for the impact of the rope on your neck to decapitate you (causing little to no pain) - there's a good chance that you're going to find your cock getting very very hard. That's when you might decide to take your head out of the noose and go on living for an additional year or two; only without the stupid inhibitions that maybe you weren't even aware of have been holding you back in your previous mingling with the Great Black Swine that is the human race.
My point is: From truly feeling yourself capable of putting an end to yourself, knowing exactly how you would go about doing it, you may derive a strong sense of control and power over your life (even if it is only to end it) that may also have an enlivening, revitalizing effect on you.
You're right man. And thanks for the latter insight, I definitely know what your talking about. Like Jacques Rigaut said "Try, if you
can, to arrest a man who travels with suicide in his buttonhole". Or, buttonholes being out of style, one can always travel with suicide in the dark abyss of his butthole. Yeah, that's how I'll roll, heh. I can take a suicidal dump whenever I want, screw the other chumps, who talk crap but are really constipated.

If that were the case, then there wouldn't be that many people around, there not being a whole lot of brave people in this world and all that.

People may have a lot of justifiable reasons to end their lives, more power to them. Who the hell do you think you are to label them "coward" about it.

So your life sucks, it's been sucking hard for half of it, there really is no hope for it to somehow improve latter on. It's like a bad movie, are you going to sit through the whole thing because you're trying to honor some misplaced notion of not being a quitter?

Suicide and acts of self destruction are the only human activities that guarantee a 100% success rate if you apply all of your strength and will into them.

Anyway, people die...

Not always. The cases of botched suicides are legion, and the consequences often scarier than anything else, even continuing a miserable life. There are always worse things than death. Good luck having a second chance at doing it right if you end up a vegetable, or mentally incapable of thinking how good or bad your life really is.

No need, that would do just as well.

Re: Suicide as an affirmation

Suicide by Grandaddy Long Legs cocktail! This is from a song by Vic Chesnutt:

Quote
I go to the garage where on the wall

A thousand granddaddy long legs crawl

A crazy notion cracks through my mind

An electrical shudder shoots up and down my spine

I run to the kitchen, grab a pot and lid

Then I rushed to the garage before I knew what I did

I was raking the gentle spiders into that pot

Then I was sitting at the kitchen table

Feeling so cold and so hot

In a moment I move to get a cereal bowl

Then I'm back at the table and before I know

What exactly I had done, I pulled the legs off of every one

The little round bodies in front of me

It looked like a bowl of black-eyed peas

Well, I take them over to the counter

Poured it into the Cuisinart

I reached in the cupboard and I grabbed a fifth
Of Tequila and I pour that in

Push the button and it starts to chop

My heart can hardly contain my thumping heart

My last act on this earth

Will be to chug-a-lug a mixture and hope for the worst

Wow. The thread that never dies. How ironic...

Two weeks means forever to you?

Anyway, it's not so much a matter of when it dies as of how.
