Mind-Reading Device Sends Twitter Messages

Well, I don't really think that the article refers to a device that reads minds. But to a technique that sends electrical impulses to a certain device instead of sending them to a hand. Something similar, but not the same, to what Stephen Hawking is using to write. In his case, I think, he reads by positioning his eyes on certain letters.

The possibility to read minds has been used in the popular TV series of the '60, Star Trek.

And, help me on this one, in the old Galactica series. I remember that they used a certain device to translate any language, by reading brain waves or something like that, but I don't remember very well.

I don't think that we are going to have anything like that machine from "Quatermass and the Pit"
