Re: The Age of Lovecraft

Could someone explain to me ye meaning of the jacket illustration? It alone inspires me to avoid this title.

"We work in the dark -- we do what we can -- we give what we have. Our doubt is our passion and our passion is our task. The rest is the madness of art."

The interview with Miéville should be interesting. An inconsistent writer but a fascinating one nonetheless.

Campbell and Miéville are both gifts, but I'm feeling significant Lovecraft burnout lately. Perhaps it shall pass.

Re: The Age of Lovecraft

I'll pass on this book--Mieville turns my stomach-- but this is indeed the Age of Lovecraft; and John Ringo, Bob Price and Ralph Peters said it best. The Death Cults are awake and thirsting for blood. A dark unrest lies upon the land. Nyarlathotep howls.
