Your personal gods?
Information concealed.

I believe in the power of the imagination to remake the world, to release the truth within us, to hold back the night, to transcend death, to charm motorways, to ingratiate ourselves with birds, to enlist the confidences of madmen.

Re: Your personal gods?
There isn't a human on this planet that I would call a hero, and most certainly not a god. But, I do appreciate the works of certain individuals.
Literature: I'm admittedly not very well read, relatively speaking, but I'd have to say Pessoa, Powys and Ligotti. Film: Noe, Bergmann, Von Trier, Malick. Visual Art: Beksinski, Ernst, Alexander Jannson, Leszek Andrzej Kostuj. Music: Debussy, Ben Frost, Tigran Hamasyan, Tim Hecker, Frederik Thordendal, Mikael Akerfeldt, Ben Weinman.

Re: Your personal gods?
I wouldn't particularly give anyone in the arts the title of a "god" but here are my greatest hits, most of which are relatively mainstream.
Written: Bill Bryson, H.G. Wells, Philip K Dick, William Gibson, Bret Easton Ellis, and I do really like Thomas Ligotti but have not had much exposure to his work yet. Cinema: Steven Spielberg, David Lynch, Alfred Hitchcock, Nicholas Winding Refn, Painters/ visual art: Not much into painters, but do like the work of John Atkinson Grimshaw and H.R. Giger Music: John Williams (his film scores are legendary)

Your fall should be like the fall of mountains. But I was before mountains. I was in the beginning, and shall be forever. The first and the last. The world come full circle. I am not the wheel. I am the hand that turns the wheel. I am Time, the Destroyer. I was the wind and the stars before this. Before planets. Before heaven and hell. And when all is done, I will be wind again, to blow this world as dust back into endless space. To me the coming and going of Man is as nothing.
