Re: An Unusual Guitar

One of the best guitarists in Chicago is Joel Paterson. He also a terrific steel player. He's a member of the Cactus Blossoms (playing steel guitar) and can be seen in the end credits of episode 3 (or 4) of the new Twin Peaks. He also has an enviable guitar collection.

Rather than posting a hundred videos, I invite you to watch some of his videos on YouTube. Prepare to be jealous.

RIP, Glen.

Here one of your friends remembers how the 50's and 60's were.

Re: An Unusual Guitar

Yes, a ravishing beauty. It would cost thousands and thousands for a luthier to create a perfect replica. My God, every little splinter alone...and that collapsed top...Wonderful!
It looks like it met Mike Tyson and lost.
