Re: CALL FOR ZINE SUBMISSIONS - DEEP WITHIN: THE FOREST

I have to go with Simon, here...the project sounds great, but scribblers need to eat occasionally (and pay their bills). I'm not even asking for much, since I know these little projects generally don't have much operating budget and I always want to support and work with small, independent publishers...but the issue should be addressed.

Re: CALL FOR ZINE SUBMISSIONS - DEEP WITHIN: THE FOREST

If money is an issue I'd suggest pursuing a kickstarter campaign to fund publishing the book and being able to offer some amount to contributors. You'd be surprised how much money can get thrown at anthology books.

Re: CALL FOR ZINE SUBMISSIONS - DEEP WITHIN: THE FOREST

Hi, thanks for your interest in the project. The zine (emphasis on 'zine', not book) is a small project that will be limited to 100 copies and would not gain much profit. Contributors will be receiving free copies that they are welcome to sell on their own. Profits made on my end will go towards the next zine project, which will be urban/industrial themed in nature. As I said, I am not looking for contributions to gain money off of people, this is more along the lines of a collaborative project amongst like-minded people. Feel free to address any questions or concerns about the zine. Deadline for submissions is on September 1st.

Re: CALL FOR ZINE SUBMISSIONS - DEEP WITHIN: THE FOREST

Just wondered if there was any news on this project, it sounded very interesting, but it's gone a little quiet?
