Re: Swans
PC. I opened those mp3s from Skin's Ten Songs-- , and there are three or four I want but all I can do is play them, and that only when the Net is up. I can make a Playlist for Windows Media Player but cannot burn them cuz they're not actual audio files, or I don't know how to make them so. Maybe just a disc w/ the titles I'd tell you would be doable, that is, if you were able to save them as audio files and can burn. As for Forever Burned, I found a tracklist and was pleased to see I already had every song.

Re: Swans
Tapes:
I'd love to hear the 1988 show, since I'm more into unreleased songs than anything at this point. (And I'm more a studio man than a live.) I don't play tapes anymore but could get a guy to make that into a CD... I own allllll the official releases on CD, yes, including Swans Are Dead. And including the live CDs. Have Die ist Zur whatever, Kill the Child, Real Love...etc. Hurrying because my friggin DSL likely to go down...

Re: Swans
Actually, I suggest you try to find it on vinyl for a reasonable price, if you have a record player. Or get the original CD. The sale price, if reasonable, could break even or make a profit on resale.

I have a couple of Swans albums and enjoy them both immensely. Great music.

Great, Unknown. Which albums are those? Have you heard "I Was a Prisoner in Your Skull"? It's from Soundtracks for the Blind.

Re: Swans
Yes, "Real Love" is excellent. Hope to buy a live tape with it (Swans were a myriad times better - and plain old heavier, actually - live).

Re: Swans
I heartily disagree on "better." Probably depends on what one likes best.

Re: Swans
Ah, yes, depends. But I will still vouch for the 1995-7 tour perhaps being the best thing they ever did.
