Skinny Puppy

I felt that the legendary mongrel dog deserved its own thread. I love this band. I have for seventeen years. I love the blend of Ogre's voice and cEvin and Dwayne's haunting and destructive audio sculpture. They encompass B-Horror movie samples into their music and their shows are mind altering experiences. My personal favorite Puppy albums are Remission, Bites, Too Dark Park, VIVIVsectVI, Mind: the Perpetual Intercourse, and Last Rights. My favorite song by them is "Smothered Hope." I had the extreme pleasure to see them on their most recent tour this summer. The show was bloody amazing! I strongly feel that when it comes to electronic industrial, Skinny Puppy, are thee band all the others are compared to.
Brap On. and discuss...

Re: Skinny Puppy

If you're a big Skinny Puppy fan I'm sure you know about Ogre's recent involvement with "REPO! The Genetic Opera". It's supposed to be a cross between Bladerunner and The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Everything I've seen thus far looks fantastic.

Re: Skinny Puppy

Yes, I did hear about this. I knew that he was talking to the casting people, but nothing was actually signed of him actually being in it yet.
