FALLEN (1998)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119099/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

I've seen large chunks of this movie, a number of times, to have seen it in its entirety, and have come to the conclusion that I really like it. The casting was excellent. The acting was good with some minor reservations. The story was engaging but I would have liked to have seen it fleshed out a little more and possibly made into a trilogy (like the Omen) or a short series (like True Detective). I'd also have focused more on the religious aspects, with historical flashbacks, and included New and Old Testament beliefs and occult spiritual knowledge within these beliefs.
In other words Stephen King, when you need my help directing it - just call. You've got my number...okay, maybe not.

Re: FALLEN (1998)

I got a big soft spot for this movie ever since I saw it. Denzel Washington's casting shows what a great actor with an intelligent script can do. Everyone rocked it but he nailed his part. I can see this idea doing awesome as an HBO series or something longer like a Netflix 12 episodes. Always thought the idea and the implementation was well done. Fallen is an underrated gem kind of like Angel Heart
