You're welcome. Presently Scott Walker is the only other artist I know of whose work is as awe-inspiring to me as that of Thomas Ligotti. And there certainly seems to be an affinity between Scott's later work (especially 'The Drift') and Ligotti at his bleakest. Imagine what a collaboration between the two would be like.

Scott Walker - Bish Bosch
Well that's my Christmas present to myself sorted. It's only been six years since The Drift - the Stanley Kubrick of music is really cranking them out now. Apparently Bish Bosch contains a kind of Christmas song, though I daresay it'll be as jolly and comforting as the skeleton of last year's Santa falling down the chimney.
We're also promised "thick silences."

No. I saw the movie at the cinema but didn't notice Scott or even know he was in it. Carax clearly has good musical taste - I was pleased to hear a Sparks song in Holy Motors.
I've got the Pola X soundtrack but I must admit I haven't seen the movie.
