Re: Has anyone heard from Cynothoglys?
The Dunhams Manor Press publisher is currently checking when he last corresponded with him. If I get a reply on FB, I'll report back here.

Re: Has anyone heard from Cynothoglys?
OK, this is a bit worrisome. Thanks for the confirmation, Doctor. I had hoped it was the Ligotti pieces that had been removed simply because that made sense considering their forthcoming publication. I find it a little disturbing that Shawn deleted his posts in the Short Short Horror thread. He was proud of his contributions and one of his pieces had found a home on a flash fiction site. My last pm from Shawn was at the end of July.

Re: Has anyone heard from Cynothoglys?
His 'disappearance' seemed to me to stem from the difficult 'Mark Samuels Tribute Book' thread, after he expressed feeling he had wrongly attacked Mark on it.
But, of course, this is a guess.

Re: Has anyone heard from Cynothoglys?
Nemonymous is right; the hostility on that thread affected Cyn badly. That thread was meant to announce Justin's new anthology; it should NEVER have been hijacked by cynical opportunists with an 8 year old grudge.

Re: Has anyone heard from Cynothoglys?
I corresponded with him after that thread (he wanted some original text variations from old fanzines for his upcoming book). He seemed in good spirits to me.

Thanks, bendk, that is re-assuring.
I hope Shawn one day will see this thread and re-assure us himself. (I have not yet heard anything more from my Facebook enquiries).

Re: Has anyone heard from Cynothoglys?
To me, the evidence so far shows a 'Purge Status' (the title of the Shawn Mann book) or a 'shorn man' (its sound as by-line), planned as a literary event?
